Forward Riley Brandt had three points for a passionate performance in the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks’ 4-1 win over the Aldergrove Kodiaks in the Cyclone Taylor Cup opener on Thursday.

It took Brandt just 12 seconds into the game to net his first of two goals.

Brandt was good friends with Nolan Handley who passed away after a car accident in Trail this week.
