Rossland’s public information session at City Hall Friday evening produced the same result as the rest of the regional dialogue on the pedestrian pipe bridge.
Like Trail and Warfield there was no big community push-back to the 3 partners borrowing their respective share for the sewer crossing.
Trail will also spend $7.5 million on the walkway.
The hastily arranged public consultation was a condition imposed by the province before they approve the $3 million in extra borrowing.
The sewer line portion will cost $7.2 million.
