The Village of Warfield is reconsidering contributing to Trail’s Library services…but still not to recreation.
The Silver City’s council is pondering Warfield’s request to contribute nearly $33,000.
Trail CAO David Perehudoff says the City’s initial proposal was to combine library services with recreation.
Perehudoff says the issue of cherry picking is one matter to consider where surrounding communities choose services they feel best benefits them but withdrawal from others.
Warfield decided not to renew the agreement that expired at the end of 2013 as Trail asked for higher contributions.
