Donation to Gleaners

Several local programs are benefiting from a donation to the Creston Valley Gleaners.

94.1 Juice FM presented the society with a $5, 000 cheque this morning.

The funds will be dispersed to help the food bank, coat and boot sale, a ministerial drive and the Christmas hamper program.

Elaine Keeling, President of the Executive says working with Gleaners is rewarding.

The Gleaners operates two volunteer run thrift stores and uses the revenue to help pay for the food program and operating expenses.
