The Nelson Police Department released the following updated information Saturday.

Nelson Police Department and Nelson Search and Rescue personnel continue efforts in locating Mr. John Vincent (28 years of age), believed to be in the Nelson area.
A more recent photograph and clothing description have been obtained. Vincent is believed to be wearing a grey wool or fleece jacket (possibly same as in updated attached photo), blue jeans and a grey and white toque possibly with red X’s stitched on it. He is believed to be carrying a large backpack as well as a black canvas guitar case.
Please advise the Nelson Police Department at (250)354-3919 if Vincent is observed.
Mr. Vincent is confirmed to have been seen walking on Awesome View Rd in Beasley, B.C. on September 24, 2015 at approximately 2:00 pm and was believed to be headed to the Nelson area at that time.
The Nelson Police Department have received unconfirmed reports of Vincent sightings in the areas of Sproat Dr, John’s Walk, Red Sands Beach and Bealby Point Rd.
