The Riverfront Center Library and Museum marks another big project in the works for Trail.
City council has approved a process to hire a project manager to assist with the development of the new downtown facility.
They will oversee all aspects of operations to ensure that everything goes according to plan.
The city did not appoint anybody to take on a similar role with the pipe-pedestrian bridge.
Mayor Mike Martin says that was a “lesson learned”.
The Riverfront Center is expected to cost $6.3 million.
