A big event in Nelson today to help mark National Seniors Day.
The inaugural Seniors Fair will be held at the Nelson Community Complex.
Organiser Anna Maskerine with Kootenay Seniors says its all about providing a face to face market place outlet for a variety of services and information.
Entrance is free and the event runs from noon until 3pm.
Transit throughout our region is free today for seniors so that may also encourage seniors beyond Nelson to attend.
