The deadline is looming for this year’s city of Nelson Sustainability Leadership Awards.
You have until November 13th to get a nomination in to city hall.
Here’s Anna Purcell one of the three councillors overseeing the process.
The three awards – in individual, business and non-profit – come with a big cash prize.
The awards highlight those who move Nelson towards their five pillars of sustainability. Those are – cultural strength, healthy neighborhoods, robust ecosystems, prosperity and resiliency.
