Chief Jason Louie pleased with new Justice Minister

A local band chief is applauding the appointment of a high profile first nations leader in cabinet.

BC’s Jody Wilson-Raybould was named Justice Minister under the Trudeau government .

Here’s Lower Kootenay Band Chief, Jason Louie.


Louie says Wilson-Raybould is a strong leader who will be serving people of all ethnic backgrounds, not just first nations.

She could yet oversee a promised national inquiry into murdered and missing aboriginal women.
