An increasing need to help families who struggle to eat well is behind a new program coming to Valley Community Services in Creston.
The “Growing Healthy Families” Program is a three year initiative to teach a multitude of valuable skills.
Director of Finance and Administration, Justine Keirn  says it covers a broad range of topics.
The project is funded through a three-year commitment from Columbia Basin Trust of almost $100, 000.
Keirn says it will launch in September.
