The Local Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program is coming back to the Creston Valley for a 2nd year.
Kootenay Employment Services is hoping to recruit six participants for the collaboration with SFU.
Facilitator Amber McGregor says the goal is help budding entrepreneurs develop their idea into a sustainable business.
McGregor says it can be a new business idea or an expansion to an existing one.
The course wraps up with a “Barn Raising” which entails paying community members selecting one participant to take home the admission fees to help launch their venture.
The deadline for LEAP! applications is March 18th with a start date of April 6th.
