Junior Dragons qualify for grand final

A group of young local entrepreneurs are moving on to the Junior Dragons Den Grand Final next month.

They grabbed the honours in the regional event featuring 14 different business concept presentations in Trail last week.

In the category for grades 8 to 10 Stanley Humphries Secondary school student Will Watt won first prize.

For grades 11 and 12 it was the team from Nakusp Secondary who won.

And in the college-university category Jesse Chan from Selkirk took the honours.

All second and third place contenders also move into the final.

Junior Dragons Den is run by our region’s Community Futures branches.
