Creston councillor wants more info on crime stats

A Creston Councillor is asking for more details around how the RCMP crime stats are presented.

This as the latest quarter shows a slight decrease in the crime rate in the Creston Valley.

Joe Snopek  says the numbers may not be clearly reflected.

He says its to ensure the unnecessary files don’t impact the overall total stats.

Snopek says he would also like to know the workload of each officer as this indicates how busy the detachment actually is.
