Another robbery in Castlegar

Another early morning crime in Castlegar …the second in as many days.

RCMP say at 4-30 am Friday a business on 6th Avenue was targetted.

Two men robbed an employee as they were leaving work and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was not injured.

Police believe the suspects may have left eastbound in a white 90’s model Ford Explorer with dark fender flares and dark roof rack.

They are not releasing any more info.

24 hours earlier – before dawn on Thursday – two suspects targetted the Chevron gas station in Castlegar. They had used a stolen van that was found later.

Police have not said of there’s a link between these incidents.
