A couple of projects in Ymir will be funded through a grant from the Columbia Basin Trust.
The Ymir Community Association gets $10,000 towards fixing the big sign near the village as well as renovations to the porch at the community hall.
Area G Director Hans Cunningham says the sign is very important for the area.
He says work on fixing the sign is underway and the new porch should be ready before winter.
