Cyclone Taylor Cup a plus for Creston

Creston’s economy will reap the benefits of hosting the 2017 Cyclone Taylor Cup hockey tournament.

This from the President of the Creston Valley Thunder Cats.

The team won the bid to host the 2017 BC Provincial Junior B hockey tournament.

Michael Moore says the host community and organisation are responsible for paying a lot of the bills for the incoming clubs.

But they have plans in place.


Moore says there will also be hundreds of spectators and hockey scouts coming to creston for the cyclone cup who will spend money locally.

The four team event rotates between BC’s three Junior B leagues.
