Government funding for Blueberry School

A funding injection for Blueberry Creek Community School in Castlegar.

This thanks to money from the province to expand on child care spaces.

The program gets just under $110,000 to create twelve new infant and toddler spaces.

Here’s Blueberry’s Executive Director Rebecca McDonnel.

Some of those funds will go towards a roof replacement.

The government funding program supports non-profit and private child care organizations to purchase equipment to support new spaces in existing facilities.
