More heat records possible Tuesday

With another hot day in the works we could be in for a second consecutive day of record daily temperatures.

It could get up to 35 C in some places.

The local historic highs for June 7th that could be broken include Trail at 35 C, Castlegar at 34.4 C and Nelson at 33.8 C.

Two of those records were set just last year.

Monday saw a number of records for June 6th. The highest temperature was 36.8 C in Castlegar.
