Group eyes gondola in Nelson

Could a gondola service from Nelson to Morning Mountain be viable?

A local group is hoping to raise a $100,000 in local government backing for a feasibility study to see if the recreational infrastructure would be.

The group includes Architect Lukas Armstrong.

He says there are still lots of details to work out like what the gondola ridership would be and how much it would cost.

He says the ideal base location would be at the end of Baker Street.
