Greenwood elects 2 new councillors

Canada’s smallest city has two new councillors.

Greenwood had its by-election Saturday for the two seats left vacant after the death of one councillor and the resignation of another.

Jim Nathorst secured the most votes with 157.

Gerry Shaw is also elected with 142 votes.

The third candidate, Rob Payne, recorded 113 votes.

235 of Greenwood’s 485 electors cast their ballot.
