RDCK secures plenty of input on recreation

The RDCK is calling the recent public open houses on a recreation master plan a “resounding success”.

GM of Community Services Joe Chirico says 180 people participated in the four events in Nelson, Balfour and South Slocan.

He says communities want and like their indoor facilities but that doesn’t mean outdoor sites are being ignored.

…and they continue to work on lake access.

Chirico is reminding everyone that they’re still gathering input on what the future of recreation should look like.

You can contribute online at rdck.ca/masterplan until next Friday.
