There’s a call for a portion of Queens Bay to be turned into a regional park instead of a new ferry terminal.
John Betts of the Queens Bay Residents Association says they’re circulating a petition to that effect.
Betts says the park is worth pursuing even if the ministry of transportation keeps the ferry terminal in Balfour.
Residents are upset a popular beach could be turned into a parking lot.
