There may be life yet in the Nelson Regional Sports Council.
They headed into their annual general meeting last week on the verge of folding.
Chair Mari Plamondon says no decision was made but it was suggested they take a year’s hiatus.
In recent years the sports council has run the bowling alley and the civic centre ice rink.
But it’s since divested itself of those roles.
