A local company has been awarded a contract from the Ministry Of Transportation for a major asphalt servicing project.
Tony Maida, Operations Manager at Selkirk Paving, says they were the low bidder for the near $10 million project.
Those side streets include Procter, Whitewater, Blewett, Bedford and Granite roads.
The project is expected to finish this fall.
Maida says there will be some traffic delays while work is ongoing.
The company was named contractor of the year for 2015 by the province in the category of paving.
