Nelson council pitches projects to BC Housing

Nelson city council has urged BC Housing to look favorably on two local projects seeking funding.

Councillor Valerie Warmington says they met with senior officials recently.

The Share Housing Initiative wants to build a 42-unit project behind the former bowling alley.

Nelson CARES hopes to add on to an old motel on Nelson Ave.
