Crawford Bay sees 20K for park project

A pleasant surprise for the Crawford Bay Community Park upgrade project.

BCAA has handed out a $20, 000 consolation prize in its play here contest.

Ellie Reynolds spearheaded the campaign to beat four other communities to win a grand prize of $100, 000.

She says she knew early on they didn’t have the population base to garner the most votes.


Reynolds says the $20, 000 will easily pay for the groundwork and landscaping at the 30-year old playground.
