New donation to Creston Museum

An exciting addition to the Creston Valley Museum and Archives.

A 1947 Maple Leaf five-ton on flat deck truck and a McCormick-Dearing crawler tractor have been given in kind.

Manager Tammy Bradford says the truck is a first at the museum.

She says the body is in good shape but an assesment of the engine determined it needs major overhaul if it’s to run again and that’s under debate.

Both treasures will be cleaned up and on display.
