New Chahko Mika Mall bus stop under construction

A new bus stop and shelter at Nelson’s Chahko Mika Mall should be completed by Aug. 8.

It will be on the Save-On-Foods end which is where it was before it was moved next to Walmart late last year.

Mayor Deb Kozak says they listened to people who wanted to keep it near the supermarket.

Kozak says they’re also implementing three times daily bus service to the Real Canadian Wholesale club starting Aug. 8.
