Nelson has a new WildsafeBC co-ordinator.
He’s David White, a former Nunavut conservation officer and executive director of an environmental watchdog group in Yellowknife.
His job is to help prevent human-wildlife conflicts and he says most people already know what to do.
White also manages the bear resistant garbage bin program for Nelson and the North Shore.
