Man arrested in Krestova gun complaint

Nelson RCMP made an arrest Friday after a complaint that a 35-year-old man uttered threats and pointed a gun at people at a home in Krestova.

They fled and called police, who received the call at 4:10 p.m.

According to Insp. Tom Roy, the suspect was located and arrested without incident a short time later after police found his vehicle on Highway 3 in the Thrums area.

He remains in custody while the investigation continues.

Charges have not yet formally been laid.
