The Slocan Valley Historical Society is working on its first book.
President Rory Lindsay says it’s a memoir by Allan Warner, whose family came to the area in 1919.
Warner published the book in limited numbers in the 1990s but this edition will be expanded and improved.
The society has secured a $4,000Â grant from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance.
