Latest test results show E. coli levels at Nelson’s Lakeside Park have more than quadrupled since last week.
Public works director Colin Innes says geese are still the most likely cause but they’ll do further sampling.
Samples taken at the boat launch showed only negligible levels of E. coli.
Innes says for the most part people are complying with the park’s no swim advisory.
