New Denver has received a grant from Columbia Basin Trust to make improvements to the Mori Trail.
This includes installing three vault style toilets along the route, which are not unsimilar to outhouses.
Mayor Ann Bunka says people are concerned with the toilet which is set to be stationed at the bottom of Main Street.
Bunka hopes for this to be temporary and have a flush toilet installed in the area at a later date.
