There were no injuries in a serious crash on Highway 3A just east of Government Rd. in Nelson on Saturday morning.
A westbound vehicle allegedly crossed a double solid line and sideswiped an oncoming vehicle.
It then crashed into a rock wall and the driver ran away.
Nelson police found him in a Rosemont yard and arrested him without incident.
He was released but faces several charges.
Both vehicles were damaged extensively.
