Registration opens for workshops on Salmo’s future

The Village of Salmo is now taking registration for a series of workshops that will help rewrite the community plan.

Administrator Diane Kalen-Sukra expects a lot of interest.

The workshops will be held monthly from September to December — each on a different theme.

They’re open to anyone — not just village residents — but you have to sign up in advance at sustainablesalmo.ca.

The workshops will all take place at the Salmo Valley Youth and Community Centre at 206 7th Street from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

  • Environment, Parks and Recreation | Tuesday, Oct. 11
  • Land-Use and Built Environment | Tuesday, Nov. 8
  • Economic Development | Thursday, Dec. 8
