Work is now underway on the racking system that will support Nelson’s solar garden.
EcoSave co-ordinator Carmen Proctor says the contract went to Valhalla Timberwrights of Rossland.
The racking is being built out of cedar and placed on cement blocks near the city’s Bonnington power plant.
Three solar panels are still available for sale.
