John Horgan visits Nelson, Kaslo

Three 20-somethings and a politician in the back seat.

It sounds like the premise for a TV sitcom but it actually happened to BC’s NDP leader a few years ago.

On Friday, John Horgan related the story of how his flight was cancelled the last time he was in Nelson.

Horgan says he used the trip as a mini-focus group.

He visited Nelson, Kaslo, Castlegar, and Rock Creek over the weekend.
