Wab Kinew to speak at local conference

Selkirk College has secured a notable guest speaker for the International Peace And Justice Studies Conference in Nelson.

Aboriginal Services Liaison Jessica Morin says Wab Kinew will be the keynote speaker at the gathering for people interested in furthering the causes of peace, justice and non-violence.

The conference is being hosted by the Mir Centre for Peace at Selkirk College.

It goes from Thursday to Saturday.

You can purchase tickets to hear Kinew speak at the Capitol Theatre on Thursday at 7 pm.
