Nelson’s Osprey Community Foundation will honour Dr. Jim Noiles at its annual fundraiser this month.
Executive director Vivian Bowers says Dr. Jim — as he’s widely known — recently retired.
It’s being held at the Adventure Hotel on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and available online at ospreycommunityfoundation.ca or (cash only) at the Nelson Medical Clinic (806 Vernon St.) and Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation office.
Previous honorees have been former city councillor Donna Macdonald and retired fire chief Simon Grypma.
