The Nelson Curling Club has city council’s blessing to seek money for a new concrete floor.
The recreation commission also recently endorsed their request.
President Gordon Wiess says now they can start talking to the Columbia Basin Trust and other funders.
They’ll have to go back to council for further approval before work can begin.
The concrete floor would give the building more uses.
