Queens Bay keeps up fight as ferry consultation ends

Opponents of moving the Balfour ferry terminal figure the momentum is in their favour.

The consultation deadline on whether to move the terminal north to Queens Bay closed Thursday.

Betts says a study they commissioned should be ready in a week or two.

It looks at the impact moving the ferry terminal would have on the local economy.

The Ministry of Transportation will summarize the feedback it has received but there’s no timeline for a decision.
