An event in Nelson this weekend to learn how to minimize the impacts invasive species have on our environment.
Laurie Frankcom with the Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society says their environment expo at Lakeside Park will be fun and informative.
The event will feature live music as well as nature inspired face painting.
It goes Saturday from 11:00 am til 2:00 pm.
