Leafs take wins over Bruins, Braves

In the KIJHL Saturday in Castlegar the Creston Valley Thunder Cats beat the Rebels 6-2.

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks scored a 3-1 victory over the Golden Rockets in Fruitvale.

In Nelson the Leafs beat the Spokane Braves 4-1.

Leafs forward Dave Lenzin turned some heads with his physical play.

He had four points in two games over the weekend.

The Grand Forks Border Bruins lost 5-3 in Nelson to the Leafs Friday and took a 7-2 loss at home to the Kimberley Dynamiters Saturday.
