Five injured in Playmor Junction crash

Five people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision at the Playmor Junction on Monday evening.

RCMP say it happened at about 6:30 p.m. and resulted in the highway being closed for a while.

The preliminary investigation suggests one of the vehicles, a Honda Civic, made a left-hand turn in front of an oncoming Infinit.

Three people in the Honda Civic and two people in the Inifinit were taken to hospital in Trail with non-life-threatening injuries.

There’s no word yet whether charges are likely.
