The Regional District of Central Kootenay will soon look at an area-wide composting program.
Resource recovery manager Mike Morrison says it’s now on their radar.
Morrison says the last few years they’ve been too busy with other capital projects.
He says the now-closed Salmo landfill would be the most likely place for an organics facility.
