Accessing future grant funding could soon be much easier in the Slocan Valley.
Mayor Ann Bunka says $21,000 in rural dividend funds will let the village hire a professional to draft an economic development plan.
The Villages of Slocan, Silverton and Area H are partnering with New Denver for this initiative.
