Nelson among world’s smartest communities

International recognition for Nelson.

Andrea Wilkey with the Nelson and Area Economic Development Partnership says the Intelligent Community Forum has named the Queen City one of the 21 smartest towns in the world.

The forum recognizes communities which use technology to improve the economic, social and cultural well-being of citizens.

The top 21 will be further whittled down to seven and then to one.
