Nelson students to lobby MPs on climate change

A couple of L.V. Rogers secondary students are taking their concerns about climate change to Ottawa.

Alyssa Taburiaux and Linn Murray, both in Grade 12, will attend the Citizens’ Climate Lobby conference this month.

Murray says they hope to speak to members of parliament.

Taburiaux says climate change is a huge problem but she tries not to let it get her down.

They’ve raised about $2,200 of the $2,400 they need for the trip.
