The Nelson University Centre’s library collection needs a new home.
The bulk of the 55,000 books have been stored in the Nelson Trading Company for the last eight or nine years.
But Morgan Dehnel of the group that has long looked after them says they’re dissolving.
Dehnel says the books have been boxed up for years but they’d still like them made available to academics.
They’re left from the Notre Dame and David Thompson university centre libraries and have been moved several times before.
