Oxygen Art Gallery plans retrospective show

Nelson’s Oxygen Art Gallery is preparing a retrospective show about their last 14 years.

The gallery was founded as the Nelson Fine Arts Centre in 2002 and moved to their current downtown location in 2005.

Program director Miriam Needoba says Memory Palaces is a chance to celebrate their history.

Needoba says they’re creating a wall of old promotional material and an online archive.

The show opens the evening of Jan. 5 and runs through the 28th.

The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
